Firstly, it was a great day - really fun, very enjoyable, highly informative. I learnt a ton of stuff about making coffee and running a coffee shop, things I wish I'd known earlier but I'm certainly glad I know now, before actually opening for business. My trainer, Luke was fantastic - helpful, patient, enthusiastic, encouraging, and very knowledgeable. The after course care is great too - loads of extra info, links, downloadable spreadsheets and checklists that would take an age to create yourself. Plus, all the other staff I met briefly on the day were helpful and friendly. One complaint: the excellent coffee we used on the day means that the instant coffee I usually have at home now tastes like cr*p so I am having to switch to tea in the short term. - Ian Taylor

We had such a great time! It was a gift for my boyfriends birthday, as neither of us are really into 'things', and what a great choice. Luke taught us everything we could have wanted to learn as he really tailored it to what we were interested in- and his skill and understanding was exceptional. A huge thank you to Luke for two very informative and insightful days of training. I was quite sceptical about doing this training but am so glad I did it. Luke was brilliant. I received a voucher for the barista training course as a gift voucher. The course was very professionally led, highly informative and, most importantly, great fun! Vicki was a great teacher and made me realise how much there was to know about coffee, which I had never considered before. I would completely recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in coffee or becoming a barista. I would also say that it is suited to pretty much all levels of ability. And as a bonus, the coffee is delicious as well! - Harry

I have just spent an amazing 2 days with Vicki at Limini on the 'How to start a coffee shop' course. I didn't know if going on this course was the best way to spend my money, but it absolutely was, and I am now so enthusiastic about opening my own coffee shop. Not only was I taught how to make the most amazing coffee (and was getting better at the latte art), I have been given the best advice about how to start... from staff rotas, to costing products, to choosing premises, to layout... the package includes everything you could possibly want. All done with friendliness and fun and laughs along the way. I would absolutely recommend this course before you take any steps to opening your own shop - I now know what pitfalls to avoid before embarking on this journey (and the delicious coffee is to die for!) 10 stars (out of 5!) - Joanne

Ever since we were first at the enquiry stage with Limini Coffee they've been professional and extremely helpful throughout all the stages, we have just had 4 of our staff complete the barista training and it was fantastic, we dealt with a great chap called Luke who was extremely knowledgable, thorough and very patient with our inexperience - he was great at explaining practises differently to make sure all staff understood! The 'How to start a coffee shop' course was invaluable to us. We attended to get an idea as to whether we could realistically open our own place - a dream we've had for some time now. Following an extremely thorough 2 days with Luke - we're so excited and are ready to take the plunge! The course covers everything you need to know from creating a concept, business planning to your opening day, including latte art.... which my husband and I need more practice on :-). Luke was extremely knowledgeable and we had so much fun making so much coffee - which was delicious! We learned so much about the fabulous world of proper coffee. Following the course, you're given a great pack that includes absolutely all the tools you'll need to get started.
