The course was absolutely fantastic. Luke was very passionate, which always helps to keep a student in the right mood for learning, and he was also very patient. This experience has really helped me solidify this idea that I have had for almost a decade. Before, not knowing where to start always kept the project in the some day area, but Luke's thorough explanation about everything that implies setting up a shop has really triggered all the right feelings and I feel more motivated than ever before. All the spreadsheets and business-plans are invaluable tools to start my research and make sure my plan is going on the right direction before actually making the financial invetment. Having been interested in making my own coffee at home for several years, I was delighted to have been booked on to the course as a birthday present by my partner. I would describe myself as a keen home amateur who wanted to know more and where I was going wrong. With these as my aims, I feel that the course fitted exactly what I need and then took it to the next level. My equipment to that used is worlds apart, however, there are still many things that I can now put into practice, having been given the confidence to adapt things by trial and error. This is where Vicki was very helpful: she was able to 'transpose' and give tips of how I might get better results at home. I have already suggested to my partner that she should take the course, and I hope to come along too for a refresher. - David Howarth

Very good course, learn a lot about coffee production and how to achieve the best standard of coffee. A must for any one looking to produce coffee on a commercial scale or even for coffee lovers wanting to make the best drink possible for themselves at home! We have just completed the 2 day How to Run a Coffee Shop Course and it was brilliant! It exceeded our expectations and has provided us with invaluable knowledge and tools which we dread to think how we would have progressed without! Luke was our fabulous trainer, he was so knowledgeable and easy to chat with and we managed to cover so much information in a pace that was suited to us. Jackie and I spent two days with Luke on the 'How to start a Coffee Shop' course and we were very impressed with the structure and content. We can't fault the personal touch Luke provided and, the 2-on-1 format gave us ample time to observe, learn and practice while Luke is very adept at tailoring the course to suit your requirements. There's plenty of useful hints and tips, the course material is professionally produced and available to all plus, there's an abundance of extra material for consideration, too. Limini Coffee are obviously very enthusiastic and knowledgeable on coffee but in Luke they have the perfect person to demonstrate that ethos and vision. He's an excellent host and patient tutor and, that patience with us was finally rewarded when we both managed to 'successfully' produce some latte art! Overall, a very instructive and inspiring couple of days and I feel like a barista who can run a coffee shop. - David and Jackie Sutton
