We had a great afternoon with room to accomodate us in really nice surroundings and plenty of space for the staff to have lots of hands on time. We learnt a lot and are now trying to apply it in our own setting. Your coffee gets LOTS of compliments already and now with latte art on the horizon we anticipate plenty more, altho we did balk at a request to write 'happy mother's day mum' on a latte for one of our customers. Enjoyed the course, thought it was good value for money. Had a good crack with both of you, and enjoyed trying to beat you down on price of products. Now realise how rubbish my gaggia classic machine is, and the standard of the coffee i have been using. A real eye opener. Intend on buying a machine off you, as i now realise i can not have a " proper" coffee unless i have better quality kit. Thank you, John
Why go on a training course with Limini Coffee ? Quite simply because of the passion. Its probably the first thing that struck us when Youri started to talk. He's loves what he does, he loves coffee and he transmits it. Secondly Youri knows what he's talking about but he doesn't show off, doesn't make you feel like you should already know, that's why you're training isn't it ? We did two courses , the content , the pace and the information is all very well prepared and structured. Not too fast not too slow, but again Youri shows skill in adapting his course to his audience which is great for moving forward. We had a wonderful time, tired at the end but very very happy. One thing that really stands out is the whole thing is geared to the CUSTOMER and not just 'industry standards'. As Youri says if you're customer wants extra hot milk then ok it's not what you would like to do, you can explain to your customer but if they really want extra hot milk then they are the customer, and that is great thinking ! After owning a florist shop for many years and taking our holidays in Austria and seeing many coffee and cake shops it always inspired me to open my own some day, now i have signed my lease and its all actions go. My husband booked the how to open a coffee shop course, ho my god it was great fun, Stu was a great trainer, it was all hands on straight away, we learnt so much from how to make perfect coffees,frothing of milk and even some coffee art, how to plan your shop layout,costings and much more. For around 18 years I have dreamed of, talked about and bored people to tears with the idea that one day I will open my own coffee shop however, until I spent two days with the lovely people of Limini Coffee I never had the confidence to actually do it. I just couldn't figure out where to start. Limini's truly inspirational a "How to Start a Coffee Shop Course" should be a legal requirement for anyone who is planning such a venture! Access to Youri's seemingly limitless knowledge of coffee shop operations is invaluable to a beginner like me and his relaxed attitude to the (previously intimidating) world of small business has helped remove the fear of actually doing it. I cannot emphasis enough how useful this course has been to finally focus my mind and develop the vision of how my shop is going to look, how it will operate and of course what coffee I will be selling! I have to add that the practical side of the course is first class too! The delightful Stu did a brilliant job of showing our class the coffee ropes. Stu managed to deliver all the necessary information with great humour, keeping us thoroughly engaged all day! H's an absolute star. My coffee shop dreams are now well on the way to becoming a reality. Youri, Stu and all at the mighty Limini Coffee, I cannot thank you enough! Kati
Course was very useful. Gave clear instruction and allowed plenty of hands on practice with friendly guidence. Stuart the trainer was great - good sense of hunour and plenty of patience. If you want to learn how to use a coffee machine then this is a good course to do. Simon
