I was lucky enough to attend a one day 'How to run a coffee shop' course with the wonderful Vicky.. From the moment I walked in I felt completed at ease. Vicky was an absolute legend.. She really knew her stuff and boy did she know how to make a cup of coffee.. Nothing was too much trouble and she was more than happy to give advice and suggestions which I have now taken on board.. I never realised how much there was to know about coffee and the many factors that could affect the taste. I had an absolutely fantastic day and I cannot praise Vicky enough.. She was brilliant!!. Had a great day. Youri was very knowlegable and personable with a good sense of humour. The course was very informative taking you from the origins of coffee, blending, roasting to the practical elements of grinding and making every coffee on the menu. He also ran through the set up, financials, marketing and running a coffee business. You could ask anything you wanted bespoke to your own plan which was very useful. The wealth of tools and information provided to read and use after the course was vast and very useful. If you are thinking of starting a coffee shop I would thoroughly recommend the course! We really enjoyed our one-day coffee course with Limini. Vicki is a fantastic tutor with bags of knowledge and experience, plenty of energy and a good sense of humour. We learned a lot and had fun along the way; there was a good mix of practical skills training and the business side.
